Don’t Fight the Fed

An old adage that suggests investors should be align their portfolios with the current monetary policies of the Fed, rather than against them. In other words, accommodative monetary policy tends to increase risk asset prices, whereas hawkish policy presents a headwind for stocks and bonds.
